Position:
Glass Lewis is hiring for its M&A and Contested Proxy Research group. This team covers M&A transactions and contested proxy fights across all industries, with a focus on providing in-depth analyses for institutional shareholder clients.
The Senior M&A Research Analyst role offers the candidate the opportunity to leverage their experience in the evaluation of a wide range of corporate transactions, to lead the evaluation and analysis of complex M&A proposals, including proxy contests and shareholder and issuer engagement.
This position reports to Jason McCandless, Senior Director, M&A.
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate corporate transactions and financially intensive shareholder proposals of public companies to formulate written research notes and recommendations for Glass Lewis institutional shareholder clients.
* Review various regulatory filings, including proxy statements, earnings reports, investor presentations, as well as media and news reporting, to inform their analyses and recommendations.
* Participate in or lead engagements with issuers and shareholders regarding contentious and complex governance situations. Senior Analysts will also be responsible for providing training and guidance to Analysts.
