Site Engineer - Residential

Job Description
As a Site Engineer with our leading developer, you will play a vital role in managing on-site operations for residential construction projects, focusing on setting out activities.
You will ensure accurate positioning of structural components, monitor quality of works, and guarantee that construction progresses according to design specifications.
You will interpret architectural and engineering plans, translating them into precise on-site measurements, working closely with other construction professionals to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform accurate setting out and leveling of works on-site using appropriate survey equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station, and laser levels).
* Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the project schedule, design drawings, and safety regulations.
* Manage and coordinate subcontractors on-site, ensuring compliance with quality standards and addressing any technical issues that arise.
* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure that all work meets required standards of accuracy and quality.
* Evaluate and manage construction activities to align with Health & Safety policies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date site records, including daily reports on work completed, material usage, and any issues encountered.
* Prepare as-built drawings and technical documentation as required by the project management team.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the project's success.
* Swiftly identify, assess, and resolve technical and construction issues to minimize delays in project progress.
Requirements:
* A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in a Site Engineer role, with significant experience in setting out and using surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, and laser levels.
* Familiarity with CAD software and construction project management tools is advantageous.
* A strong understanding of residential construction processes, local building regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
* A full, clean driving license is required.
