Securitas Technology Ireland are currently recruiting for a Commissioning EngineerThis position will require travel within Ireland and EMEA.Role PurposeThe role of the Commissioning Engineer is to support the project managers to control, deliver and commission high end security systems to the highest industry standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring the installation of each project is commissioned on time, to the required standard while complying with the client specifications and expectations.

Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience in Data Centre environmentKnowledge of national standardsResponsibilitiesEvaluate contractual commissioning statistics and instruction guidelines in accordance with the needs of the project.Reviewing technical specifications of systems to be delivered.Manage the commissioning of systems through clear communications between all key stakeholders.Review designs, lead and supervise onsite commissioning activities.Guide testing processes and motivate engineers to achieve standard results.Assist with identification and redressal of commissioning and malfunction issues.Prepare and maintain commission records of site observations, testing processes and checklists.Outline procedures, norms, and details for writing Systems Manuals.Review progress of installations and escalate any issues to Project lead.Regular On-site visits and spot checks on quality of the installations1st Line support for technical issuesCapture and communicate / escalate any variations to the design or scope of works to the Project ManageEnsure all works are completed and handover documents issued to the Project manager.QA/QC all subcontractor installation works to ensure it meets minimum standards.Excellent communication skillsAbility to work remotely or as part of a team.VettingSecuritas Technology Ireland carries out Security Vetting on all employee who join the business.
