Job Description:
Accountabilities/Role/Responsibilities
* Prepare reconciliations, identify and resolve differences; prepare monthly account reconciliation reporting
* Make recommendations to management to influence decisions and support policy/process development
* Identify appropriate control gaps and work with management and staff in other departments to resolve
* Perform and/or review accounts to ensure payables/receivables are effectively managed and controlled
* Reconcile accounts with SAP and Frontier
* Provide training and support to other departments
* Coordinate and/or support internal and external audits
* Manages and/or participates in projects and provide subject matter expertise
* Identify and implement process enhancements to increase team efficiencies and internal controls by using appropriate applications
* Validate, improve and document business processes
* Process client Check/Wire, Filing Unclaimed Property, EFT Resends/reclaims
* Perform Bank Account and Share Reconciliations
* Coordinate and perform Month End, Quarter End and Year End reporting and analysis
* Perform Commission funding & balancing, NAV's/Dividend verifications & adjustments, processing of accounting entries
* Perform daily Fund Settlements.
* Research & resolution of outstanding variances, general ledger and control accounting
* Maintain procedure documentation
* Collaborate with International Fund Managers & Transfer Agencies (trades, wires & general fund queries)
* Collaborate with Prod Support, BSA's on system/fund projects & enhancements.

Education/Experience
* 2-3 years of industry experience (banking, accounting or insurance)
* Finance background preferred
* 3rd Level Qualification required (preferred Accounting, Business/Finance)
