Job Description:The Fidelity Fund & Investment Operations (FFIO) technology team is looking for a highly motivated Quality Assurance Engineer like you to join their Transfer Agent Consolidation & Control (TACC) team in our offices in Dublin. You will work as part of a global Agile team ensuring that quality is engineered into the products. You will be responsible for executing testing through product releases helping to define systems integration testing and user acceptance testing, test methods and test plans. This includes functional testing, GUI testing, risk analysis, test estimation, feature sizing and test coverage. This role will require test planning and hands on test execution and test automation.The Expertise and Skills You Bring3+ years’ experience in Quality Engineering.Financial services experience is preferred but not required.Experience in Agile methodologies.Experience with using Java or Java Script and experience with Java based testing frameworks.Experience with RDBMS, RESTAPI and related tools such as SQL and Postman.Experience as an automation engineer/software engineer working across a diverse range of applications at multiple layers of the technology stack.Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin, Cypress.Experience with requirement analysis, defect tracking, coordinating with team members in different locations, and test reporting and signoff.Experience with Jenkins CI/CD, job creation and maintenance.Jira and Xray a plus.The Value You DeliverWorking and collaborating on new technologies to address legacy test challenges.Implementing test infrastructure that can deliver business values immediately but also grow interactively.Actively participate in the development process through writing and maintain application features and automated tests including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests and interoperability tests Collaborate with team members on improving team's test coverage, release velocity and production health. The Team FFIO technology teams craft and maintain technology solutions and products that enable FFIO to provide accounting and investment management support services to Fidelity businesses and fund shareholders. These services include calculating and distributing NAVs, distribution rates and yields for a wide variety of investment products; preparing fund financial statements, dividend estimates and tax returns; monitoring delivery of fund trades to custodian banks; processing corporate actions; collecting securities income on behalf of the funds; reconciling, reporting and moving money in support of fund shareholder transactions; and managing fund liquidity.
