Boyden have been retained by an Irish owned entity in the Large Venue and Events space to assist in the appointment of a Head of Finance to manage the finance and reporting function for this multi-facetted commercial organisation. Reporting to the CFO, the successful candidate will work to create a strong financial control function while providing the financial systems and processes to ensure timely and accurate information is available to support the management team.ResponsibilitiesProduction and analysis of monthly management accounts and the finance report for the Board of Management meetings.Full range of duties including, monthly cost review, treasury/working capital management, capital investment appraisals and project financing, budgeting, payroll, taxation/statutory returns, audit and compliance.Implementing IT Projects to improve financial management and reporting and to deliver the level of service required by the management team.Managing a finance team of 5 people including performance management and staff development.The PersonMust possess a recognised accounting qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, ACMA.5 years experience of managing a finance function.Bringing strong IT systems experience with a view to upgrading the current environment to meet the needs of the business.Personal traits; people orientated with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, organised, commercially motivated and enjoys a dynamic customer service centric environment.If you have the skills and experience outlined and want to play a key role in bringing this organisation to the next level we would like to hear from you.Please apply using the link on this page or for further information please contact sara.imran@boyden.com.
