Company: Our client is a subsidiary of one of the largest farming and food production companies globally. The parent company sells milk, milk powders, and an extensive range of bakery products into supermarket chains and independent retailers across 3 continents. Opportunity: Reporting to the Farm Manager, the Maintenance Manager will oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring efficient management of farming and dehydration plant equipment. They will be responsible for managing day-to-day maintenance requirements, mentoring staff, and maximizing value while minimizing resource wastage. The role involves coordinating with the Plant Manager to maintain equipment standards and overseeing job flow in the workshop. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager will manage the company's stores facility, maintain service records, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies. Responsibilities: Operations: Efficient management of farming and dehydration plant equipment Supervise day-to-day maintenance requirements and train staff Coordinate resources, schedules, and activities Ensure supplies are ordered for each job and report progress to the Farm Manager Act as a technical adviser on key projects and maintenance procedures Administration: Manage the stores facility, maintain spare parts inventories, and order new supplies Maintain detailed service records of equipment repairs and track maintenance budget Ensure proper storage and use of consumables according to the budget Provide problem resolution and determine external support needs Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment and adherence to H&S policies Collaborate with Training on Health and Safety for employees Cooperate with Health and Safety measures and implement corrective actions Requirements: Education - Technical Degree 5+ years of experience in maintenance management Intermediate level of proficiency in English and Spanish Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, knowledge of SAP operations helpful Managerial Skills: Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and organize work effectively Strong teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Leadership qualities with a focus on work planning and attention to detail Behavioral Skills: Demonstrates good work ethic and confidence Exhibits adaptability to change and works well under pressure Friendly, approachable, and fosters a positive work environment Remuneration Our client is considering a fly-in, fly-out' arrangement, specifically 6 weeks in Argentina followed by 2 weeks in their home countries, this aims to balance work commitments and family time.
