Finance AnalystJob Description: Finance AnalystGeneral Information Hiring Department/Group: Finance Job Title: Finance Analyst Office Location: Dublin, IE, Central Quay Job Function summary The Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) team plays an important role in delivering economic insights and decision making support to the senior leadership of the organization which helps to drive the financial performance of the firm. The firm is looking to recruit an individual with strong analytical experience, preferably in financial services industry, to develop and improve analytical frameworks to facilitate more informed decisions. The successful candidate will join the new Financial Reporting and Accounting Policy (FRAP) team in Dublin, in a FP&A specific role supporting the wider FP&A team in London and New York, and providing some financial reporting support as needed. Principal ResponsibilitiesPrepare monthly financial dashboards for senior management reflecting actual results and comparisons to forecasts/budgetsAnalyze current and past trends in the areas of revenue, expenses and other key performance indicators to improve design and accuracy of financial forecastsPlay an active role in the firm’s annual budget and forecasting processes by working with the organization’s leadership to incorporate initiativesDevelop financial analysis, which is value-added to decision making and assessing business performancePartner with the businesses in developing financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, including product expansion economicsParticipate in team-wide projects with the autonomy to innovate and develop new ways to analyze the businessWork closely with broader Finance organization, Risk, Corporate Strategy and HR on firm wide initiativesWork alongside the FRAP team Analysts and support in financial reporting tasks as needed.Qualifications/Skills RequiredBachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field is preferred 2+ years’ experience in FP&A role, preferably in Financial ServicesStrong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (macros and VBA is a plus)Advanced quantitative and problem solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively, including presenting ideas both in written presentations and to small groupsAbility to interact with senior management, peers and professional staff;Communicating with impact to effectively manage upward to influence decisions.
