Job Description
As a Litigation Solicitor at {company}, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and representation on litigation matters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for acting on behalf of the company or policyholders in litigated claims, providing comprehensive and strategic legal advice to ensure the best possible outcomes for all stakeholders involved.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver independent advice and take instructions from the Company in the management of Motor/ EL/PL litigated files.
* Run Circuit, High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court actions without supervision.
* Settle claims based on agreed targets and efficiently manage a caseload of files.
* Give strategic advice and work closely with Senior and Junior Counsel.
* Convey instructions to them effectively and coordinate pre-trial defence conferences.
* Keep up to date on all relevant new developments in legislation and case law and advise relevant stakeholders.

Requirements
* A qualified litigation solicitor with relevant insurance defence experience.
* A career of over 7 years PQE with relevant insurance defence experience.
* A minimum third-level honours degree and solicitor entered on to the roll of Solicitors in the Republic of Ireland.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, case law, practice notes, and Rules of Court, District, Circuit, High Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court.
