A snapshot of your peer group:
1. 5+ years working as a credit controller ideally in a large organisation.
2. Institute of Credit Management or equivalent qualification an advantage
3. Evidence of excellent MS excel skills.
4. Proficiency in ERP Systems, knowledge of I4G an advantage
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Attention to detail is essential.
7. Ability to build relationships with senior management and team members.
Your responsibilities and achievements will evolve as you enhance your career with us. Here is what you can initially expect:
8. Efficiently manage a ledger. Liaising with senior management and following up with clients to ensure bills are paid on time.
9. Resolve all internal and external queries that arise and escalating where necessary.
10. Building good working relationships with internal senior management and externally with clients
11. Prepare status reports on each ledger and highlighting issues that require attention.
12. Focusing on agreed Key Performance Indicators
13. Working as part of a credit control team providing excellent support to the client facing staff
14. Ensuring cash collection targets are achieved.
15. Provide monthly cash forecasts.
16. Undertake and deliver on delegated business unit relevant tasks.
17. Ability to prioritise work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Your team:
You will be joining the Finance Department as a member of our Credit Control Team, which consists of 8 dedicated professionals. Reporting to the Credit Manager, Alison O'Flaherty.
You will be part of a team with over 40 years of combined credit control experience. The team is highly conscientious and actively engaged in studying various finance-related fields. They are warm, welcoming, and eager to help and train new members.
