Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Technician to join our team at Northern Regional College.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to students and lecturers in education and training areas, ensuring facilities, equipment, and materials are prepared efficiently and safely.
* Demonstrate techniques as specified by lecturers and provide assistance and supervision to students during practical sessions, exams, and assessments.
* Issue equipment and materials to students in accordance with college procedures.
* Receive and check items delivered to ensure they meet order requirements and delivery documentation.
* Ensure adherence to hygiene regulations and school procedures regarding cleanliness of stores and transportation to classes.
Requirements:
* Three years of experience in a store supervisory catering or hospitality role, or a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Professional Cookery, Hospitality, Stores) plus one year's experience in catering and hospitality.
* Experience in stock management
* Understanding of health and safety procedures and legislation
Benefits:
* Band 3 - £12.80 per hour
* 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays
