About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our dynamic team in Dublin for 12 months. In this pivotal role, you'll provide essential support to the Head of Compliance and play a key part in ensuring regulatory adherence and combating financial crime.
* Provide advice and guidance to staff on compliance and financial crime matters.
* Review new regulations and legislation, analyzing their impact on the business.
* Contribute to projects requiring regulatory/compliance input.
* Focus on areas such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), MiFID II, Client Asset Requirements, Market Abuse Regulations, EMIR, Individual Accountability Framework, Central Bank Codes.
* Review firm-wide policies and procedures, controls in compliance and financial crime areas.
* Assist in communications with the Central Bank of Ireland and other regulatory authorities when required.
* Develop and provide training for the Board and staff on compliance and financial crime topics.
* Oversight and monitoring to meet regulatory requirements.
* Support the Compliance Team in Ireland as needed.
* Engage with external legal advisors and consultants when required.
* Attend industry seminars and networking events related to Compliance and Financial Crime.
Your Background
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A Legal, Professional or Business 3rd-level qualification.
* In-depth experience within a Compliance role, with a strong understanding of Irish AML/CTF Legislation.
* Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
* A good working knowledge of Financial products and Markets.
* The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Natural team player, comfortable working closely in a team environment.
* Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
* An inquiring mind and desire to develop and learn.
* A strong work ethic and enthusiasm to achieve results.
* A working knowledge of MiFID II is advantageous.
* Professional Diploma in Compliance (LCI) or equivalent qualifications.
