The Head of Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) is accountable for operating the BOI Group Cloud Operating Model (CTOM), Cloud Governance and delivering the Cloud Roadmap that aligns with the Bank's IT Strategy.
Enable the Bank's Traditional and DevOps teams with Agile approach through the delivery of cloud services on demand.
Manage Group's cloud platforms to deliver increased security, compliance and operational integrity by design, ensuring alignment with all appropriate enterprise standards and frameworks.
Enhance and mature a scalable CTOM that delivers value to BOI through innovation, cost optimisation, enhanced Governance and Security Controls, Regulatory and Risk compliance for Cloud Services and Cloud Service providers (CSPs).
Develop and align the Cloud Roadmap and CTOM to support BOI's strategic priorities to transform the bank and serve customers brilliantly.
Develop the CCoE that accelerates Cloud adoption.
Align the Cloud operating model with all appropriate enterprise standards and frameworks.
Provide thought leadership and develop a group wide engagement model to enable the adoption of Cloud across BOI.
Lead the CCoE with the support of our partners in the Engineering, Design and BAU areas.
Operate BOI's CTOM and lead the CCoE function.
The Head of the CCoE will act as the product owner for the public cloud platform.
Develop, implement and enforce best-in-class processes for ensuring high quality and high uptime for the product developed by the team, meeting agreed SLA's and KPI's.
Business lead for all Group IT Cloud Risk, Regulatory and Compliance engagements, supporting Senior Management in Group wide and external Regulatory engagement; ensuring alignment with the Group Risk and Control Framework.
Drive automation and standardisation to simplify our developers experience, enabling agility and easy use of the platform.
Build and deliver governance mechanism for management of policies and standards frameworks for Cloud adoption.
Drive automation and standardisation to provide cost optimisation and efficiency.
Support delivery of the BOI IT Strategy and roadmap for Cloud.
Build and maintain a Cloud capability roadmap that supports the strategic intent.
Accountable for the recruitment and leadership of the CCoE team in line with BOI policies and procedures.
Develop training and capability plans that support the growth of in-house technical capability required to support strategic agenda.
Ensure all material Agreements maximise value for money and meet business objectives.
Manage CCoE budgets.
Develop relevant MI and KPI's for reporting purposes.
Reports to senior stakeholders on a timely basis and ensures the CCoE is fit for purpose, meets industry benchmarks and regulatory expectations.
Collaborate with strategic partners and internal stakeholders to develop and implement prioritisation criteria that support BOI's strategic IT priorities.
Good understanding of design / architectural patterns and automation platforms on public cloud services (AWS and Azure preferably).
Proven experience of cloud transformation in a regulated industry.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM development methodologies.

Strong commercial acumen and ability to deliver complex IT and business change transformation with a focus on continual innovation and cost optimisation.
Significant experience in Audit, Regulatory, Risk and Compliance engagements in a highly regulated industry.
Understand Regulatory expectations across jurisdictions, the challenges of multi-region / global FS institutions and implications for data and technology.
People Management - Extensive Leadership and Management skills, ability to influence others through strong collaboration while maintaining effective relationships.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to negotiate and resolve conflicting priorities and able to work effectively at all levels.
