Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of customer service is offered to all customers, while promoting a harmonious atmosphere for customers, suppliers, and the team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Customer Service: Ensure the highest standard of customer service is offered to all customers.
* Merchandising and Presentation: Ensure the merchandising and presentation of the store are of the highest standard at all times.
* Points of Sale: Manage all Points of Sale and ensure they contribute effectively to Price Perception.
* Communication: Communicate the required operating standards to all staff members and ensure they always understand and implement them.
* Fresh Food Departments: Monitor the performance of Fresh Food Departments in conjunction with the Fresh Food Manager.
* Stock Management: Adhere to stocktaking procedures and coordinate quarterly stocktaking procedures.
* Department Overheads: Monitor department overheads, ensuring that all budgets are achieved including wages.
* Leadership: Provide leadership for Junior Management and staff and ensure a good working environment exists within the store.
