Key responsibilities may include:
Project design and planning:Performing engineering calculations, creating detailed design drawings, and developing project plans for new construction or renovation projects at Santee Cooper power plants
Site evaluation:
Conducting site investigations, analyzing soil conditions, and determining appropriate foundation designs for new structures
Structural design:
Designing structural elements like buildings, towers, and support systems within power generation facilities.
Permitting and compliance:
Preparing and submitting necessary permits to local authorities, ensuring projects comply with environmental regulations
Construction oversight:
Monitoring construction activities, reviewing contractor submittals, and ensuring project execution aligns with design specifications
Cost management:
Tracking project budgets, managing expenditures, and identifying cost-saving measures
Technical analysis:
Performing engineering calculations, evaluating technical feasibility, and resolving design challenges
Collaboration:

Required skills and qualifications:
