Meet the team
The Promo Producers Team works on delivering promotional assets for content on RTÉ across all platforms. We are looking for an experienced Promo Producer to write, produce, design, edit and direct compelling pieces of short form content.
Reporting to the Creative Management Team, you will be responsible for creating a range of content suitable for TV, Digital and Social platforms, from simple audience communication to campaigns that are aligned to RTE’s Marketing strategy.
About the role:
1. Working either individually or as part of the broader creative team to deliver new and innovative campaign executions across multiple platforms.
2. Producing structured concepts and high-quality creative solutions that respond imaginatively and accurately to marketing briefs.
3. Writing effective copy for any media/platform and directing voice over artists/talent where appropriate.
4. Working within issued budgets, agreed objectives and to deadlines.
5. Ensuring that all work complies with RTÉ brand guidelines and editorial standards.
6. Liaising with a range of internal and external stakeholders including Genre Heads, Commissioning Editors and Content makers.
About you:
1. Significant experience and a proven track record producing multi-platform marketing campaign messages.
2. Excellent creative skills including copywriting, video editing and ability to generate original ideas.
3. Clear knowledge of the relevant production and post production processes.
4. Ability to self-edit at offline level (Avid/FCP).
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to pitch ideas clearly and to brief.

This appointment will be made at the Promotions Producer Grade and is being offered on an ongoing contract basis. The salary scale for this grade is from €47,440 to €62,367 gross per annum.
