Job Description
The advertised roles seek candidates with a broad knowledge of electrical systems, standards and experience working on fast-paced electrical Pharmaceutical and Data Hall Projects. Suitable candidates must have experience working in an engineering or similar role previously, with the ability to:
* Interpret and critically assess design documentation
* Perform Value Engineering
* Identify and select suitable materials and equipment for projects
* Interact professionally and proactively with clients and design teams
Candidates will also be expected to have detailed knowledge of Electrical Standards and Systems, including but not limited to:
* Medium and Low Voltage
* Instrumentation (BMS/PAS)
* Containment Systems
* Life Safety Systems
* Security and Access Control
* System Integration
In addition, they should be experienced in implementing Quality procedures and processes on a construction project, including technical submittals, first-of-a-kind installations and resolving RFIs. The ideal candidate will be able to host electrical workshops to advance design and construction issues.
Key Skills Required
The successful candidate will possess the following key skills:
* An Electrical Engineering degree and/or Electrical Trade Qualification
* Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint etc.)
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to participate in technical meetings with vendors and clients
* Ability to work autonomously and/or as part of a team
* Excellent spoken and written English
