The Position Forvis Mazars operate a payroll bureau providing outsourced payroll processing services to clients ranging from multinational companies to owner managed businesses and to Public sector bodies.
We are looking for a confident, experienced candidate, interested in working in a payroll bureau environment and who has the IPASS payroll qualification.
This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to work as part of a growing team of payroll experts.
Key Responsibilities Supporting the Payroll Management team with production of weekly/fortnightly, monthly & Quarterly payrolls for Ireland in a busy bureau environment Dealing with all aspects of the payroll process, BIK, share awards, pension, and other voluntary and statutory deductions.
Dealing with starters and leavers registrations Process the monthly PAYE Submissions on ROS Processing ERR submissions.
Assisting in the resolution of day-to-day employee payroll queries in a professional manner Adhering to internal procedures aligned to SOX compliance.
Required to assist with external agencies in relation to payroll matters including, Client Auditors, CSO, Dept.
of Social and Family Affairs & Revenue Commissioners Preparing and processing statutory deductions Maintains employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes.
Assist with maintaining the integrity and accuracy of payroll data, as well as the retention of related records Assist with documentation of process manuals for payroll procedures.
Carry out payroll reconciliations using Excel.
Providing security payslips for all employees Processing payment of net pay via Internet banking Staff training on payroll systems Skills & Experience that we need: A high degree of attention to detail IPASS payroll qualifications 3 - 5 years' payroll experience in a Bureau UK payroll experience - desirable but not necessary Ability to work on own initiative with excellent organisational and administrative skills Must have strong verbal and written communication skills High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality is required Highly experienced in using payroll systems (Europay experience an advantage) Enthusiastic and confident with the ability to work within a team environment.
Possess the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
The ability to work to tight deadlines and under time pressure.
