We are hiring CNM2 - Arthroscopy Service (Maternity Cover) into a Private Hospital in Cork, Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Have a lead role in the effective governance, operational management, and administration of the nursing and healthcare services with a particular emphasis on effective clinical leadership, providing a safe environment for patients and staff, while making the best use of resources.
* Development and delivery of auditing and reporting in line with relevant legislation and quality standards.
* Adhere to and contribute to the development and maintenance of nursing standards, protocols, and guidelines consistent with the highest standards of care and in line with the Code of Professional Practice and Behaviors for Registered Nurses.
* Ensure all relevant records are kept clear and up to date in the respective center relating to each service user.
* Facilitate and deliver appropriate training.
* Provide appropriate supervision and performance management to assigned staff.
* Develop and implement all relevant clinical policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Registered with NMBI.
* Demonstrable dedication to patient safety and quality.
* Minimum of five years of post-graduate acute care or orthopaedic nursing experience.
* Minimum of three years of experience in a people management function (CNM1 post or equivalent).
* Excellent understanding of contemporary nursing practice and abilities.
* Ability to make decisions with great organisational abilities.
* Knowledge of IT systems.
* Preceptorship qualifications and experience.
* Management qualification, current ACLS certification, or willingness to complete the course.
* Previous experience with outpatient clinics.
* Previous experience with JCI accreditation.
