In this role, you'll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on safety culture within a global business that is committed to innovation and sustainability.
Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor: Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation, conducting risk assessments, site inspections and audits to maintain safety standards across sites.
Safety Culture & Engagement: Engage with teams to promote a positive health and safety culture, providing training and support to employees on the best safety practices.
Business Relocation Support: Play an integral part in the site relocation process, identifying potential risk associated with the move and ensuring the new site is fully compliant before operations begin.
Incident Investigation & Reporting: Support the investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses, working with management to develop preventative measures based on findings.
Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will have: Experience: Gained 1-2 years' experience within health and safety.
Mindset: Proactive, results-driven, with a willingness to learn and grow.
Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence both shop-floor staff and senior management.
Qualifications: NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification, with previous experience within manufacturing, production or similar environments being beneficial but not essential.
Benefits: A salary of ~£48,000 DOE.
