About the role
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Programme Management Office (PMO) at Davy as a Junior Project Manager.
The PMO is a team of experts in project and change management, whose role is to accelerate progress in Davy’s priority change projects. The PMO reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and is responsible for providing discipline and governance in how projects are managed by applying consistent methodology and practices. The team currently manage an enterprise-wide portfolio of important strategic and regulatory projects. The PMO plays a key role in enabling and managing change in Davy.
Junior Project Manager Role
This is a role providing opportunity to learn and grow through managing a number of small to medium projects. You will work with a great team who are outcome driven, foster an inclusive culture and are focused on our stakeholders. In the role, the successful candidate will:
* Manage, deliver and execute projects throughout the full project management lifecycle
* Develop detailed project plans, tracking milestones and deliverables
* Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
* Support the business to identify, manage and mitigate the risks throughout the project
* Benefits realisation
* Costs and resource management
* Identify and manage dependencies within projects and across programmes
* Project reporting that provides clarity on performance and progression of projects
* Enable high performing teams – being part of the team and providing leadership for cross functional teams.
* Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
Requirements
About you
* Self- starter who can demonstrate taking initiative
* Strong planning and organizational skills including the ability to prioritise effectively
* Influencing and leading with an ability to engage and motivate people
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Demonstrated ability to work in a high performing team
* Attention to detail
* Proven Time Management capability
* Critical thinking and problem solving
* Proactive approach to dealing with queries / issues, escalating when appropriate
* Strong stakeholder management at all levels across the organisation
* Advanced MS Office suite skills
Qualifications
* Degree or Masters in Project Management or related discipline
* Professional certificate(s) in project management e.g. PMP
Preferred experience / knowledge
* Minimum of 2 years working as a project manager
* Agile Methodology
* Financial Service regulations and compliance
