Financial Accountant required for a well-established company in Donegal town, with 3 years post qualification experience. Hybrid after training is completed.
Responsibilities:
1. Assisting in year-end financial reporting and liaison with external audit.
2. Assisting in preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
3. Assisting in the preparation of quarterly management accounts.
4. Preparation of monthly reporting and reconciliation information within defined timelines including bank, intercompany and sales reconciliations.
5. Monitor inventory levels and coordinating stocktakes.
6. Preparation of statutory VAT Returns across the Group.
7. Management of weekly payroll information.
8. Assisting in costing projects.
9. Maintaining and updating the internal controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting process.
10. Participation in various projects on an ad hoc basis.
Requirements:
1. Qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of three years post qualified experience in industry and/or practice.
2. Accounts reconciliation and preparation experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4. Strong IT and Advanced Excel skills.
5. Experience of supervising a small team.
