Overview
The primary purpose of the post of Risk, Data and Improvement Manager will be,To support and enable the functioning of the Regional Incident Management Fora for Acute Hospitals (Women’s & Children’s, Peri-Operative and Medicine).Lead and support the collation of Quality & Patient Safety related data for inclusion in the regional quality assurance metrics programme.Work across the region and with sites to support and enable the use of data for improvement. Working collaboratively with subject matter specialists.Support sites in the management of Patient Complaints and lead on using complaints data and other patient feedback to drive improvement.To participate in reviews of clinical incident’s as required To collaborate with QPS Teams in Hospitals to support staff training on QPS functions e.g. complaints management and clinical incident reviews.
Essential Criteria
Candidates must have at the latest date of application:Extensive experience at a senior leadership level in either health or social care delivery as relevant to this role.Be educated to level 8 at a minimum, in a discipline relevant to the role.Significant experience in Quality, Patient Safety or Risk Management in healthcare.Ability to collate, understand and analyse data. Demonstrate experience with the use of data to drive improvement.Proven track record in implementing significant change projects and related services in a distributed and highly complex organisation or other relevant and highly complex organisation, as relevant to this roleSignificant experience in the implementation of performance improvement strategies in healthcareExperience of managing and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders across the Health Sector.Strong IT skillsSpecific RequirementsAccess to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role as post will involve travel Relevant AttachmentGrade VIII QPS-job-specification
