Accounts Receivable An opportunity for an experience Accounts Receivable Assistant has come available for an international wholesale business in Sandyford who are going through significant growth Benefits include 25 days holidays, pension, hours 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday key Responsibilities Maintain the sales ledger accounts with accuracy Ensure all customer account information is up-to-date and accurate Set up new customers through the customer onboarding process Ensure that all sales orders are invoiced in a timely fashion and are accurate Resolve customer account queries with the customer and Sales Manager in a timely fashion Reconcile customer accounts and ensure payments are matched to invoices Ensure that IFS has issued customer statements, reminders and copy documents; where IFS hasnt done this automatically, to resolve and send to customers Undertake regular credit limit and payment terms reviews on customer accounts Manage customer accounts to ensure customers adhere to the agreed payment terms Monitor the ageing of debt and review accounts for any bad debt provisions required Action any legal proceedings where customers have failed to pay Actively pursue debtors and collect cash (via phone and email) Review and resolve any daily banking mismatches Assist with the reconciliation of unallocated cash Assess merit and release blocked orders as appropriate Collate information to help with cashflow forecasting Produce and submit relevant debtors reports management and banks Assist with month end procedures and close off Assist with the year-end audit and the supply of audit information Assist colleagues in the Finance Department on an adhoc basis as and when needs arise Update the finance team in the regular departmental meetings on any customer issues or payment issues Requirements Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role Excellent written and verbal communication skills Be proficient in using Microsoft Office Organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills Capable of working on own initiative as well as a team player If you are living in Ireland and hold a VALID WORK PERMIT, we would love to hear from you, if however, you do not hold a valid work permit unfortunately we will not be in a position to assist you with your job search.
