Senior Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage our construction projects in Dublin. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with main contractors and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Cost Management: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
2. Subcontractor Management: Manage and oversee subcontractor contracts, ensuring compliance with agreements.
3. Procurement Leadership: Lead procurement processes, negotiate terms, and prepare contracts.
4. Project Monitoring: Monitor project progress, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
5. Variation and Dispute Resolution: Manage variations, claims, and resolve disputes in a timely manner.
6. Financial Reporting: Provide regular reports on financial performance, including cost analysis and cash flow forecasts.
7. Compliance and Quality: Ensure projects meet financial, legal, and quality standards.
8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the project management team to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
Requirements:
1. Education: Degree holder
2. Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience with main contractors
3. Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of contracts
4. Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
