Site Manager Construction - Dublin Airport Area Location: Near Dublin Airport, Ireland Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Project Start: March 2025 Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a new educational building project located near Dublin Airport.
This project, starting in March 2025, will involve traditional block build, and the Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
The Site Manager will be the primary point of contact on-site, managing all day-to-day operations and leading a team to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the site on a daily basis, ensuring that the project is running according to schedule and within budget.
Lead, supervise, and motivate the site team, including subcontractors, labourers, and other staff, ensuring that work is being completed efficiently and safely.
Ensure all construction activities adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other relevant parties, to ensure smooth communication and project progress.
Manage and maintain the projects quality standards, ensuring all work meets the required specifications and industry standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with project plans.
Oversee the procurement and management of materials, ensuring timely delivery and cost control.
Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately, including site reports, health and safety records, and daily progress logs.
Resolve any on-site issues or challenges quickly, ensuring minimal disruption to the project schedule.
Ensure that all work is carried out in line with the projects environmental and sustainability requirements.
Essential Skills & Qualifications Proven experience (minimum 3 years) in managing construction sites, preferably on traditional build projects.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and health & safety regulations.
Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors effectively.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Additional Requirements Valid Safe Pass card.
Full driving licence.
