Responsibilities:
* Maintain control accounts, schedules and reconciliations
* Assist in preparation and completion of monthly performance reporting pack for management team
* Preparing weekly and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and maintaining weekly forecast cashflow files
* Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger by recording transactions accurately and in a timely manner
* Assist in preparing financial statements and year end audit process
* Completion of monthly management accounts up to Trial Balance.
* Prepare initial tax returns for VAT, RCT, CT, for UK and Ireland
* Continue to improve internal systems & controls
* Utilize accounting software and other financial tools proficiently to streamline processes and maintain accurate records
Key Competencies
* Newly/Part qualified ACA, ACCA, CPA, or similar.
* Experience in construction/ manufacturing industry
* Microsoft office experience is essential. Strong IT skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience with COINS ERP system an advantage
