Job Description
As a Senior Principal Engineer for Digital Design you will be taking a leading role in the definition and deployment of processes and methodologies in the field of Digital IP Design.
In your new role you will:
1. Contribute substantially to the IP strategy in the field of Digital Design
2. Work as part of a team responsible for infrastructure, methodology and automation for IP Concept, Design and Verification
3. Facilitate and encourage innovation across boundaries, both internal and external to the IP design organisation
4. Observe and proactively act on external and internal trends
5. Coach & challenge new ideas, actively balance risks and opportunities and drive decisions
6. Be equally comfortable working with engineers, and engaging with senior managers and their senior technical leadership
Your Profile
You are a leader with a strong background in Digital Design, and a proven track record of driving complex projects forward. You are a strategic thinker, able to analyze intricate problems from multiple angles, leveraging your network of experts to drive innovative solutions and continuous improvement. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to effectively convey your ideas, influence others, and build lasting relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
1. A University Degree within STEM (Science, Technologies, Engineering and Mathematics) area
2. At least 15 years of relevant Digital Design experience from Digital IP design
3. An expert understanding of Digital Design Methodologies and flows
4. Proven ability to develop complex digital designs targeting high speed and/or low power, and an in-depth understanding of the SoC implementation flow
5. Proven ability to solve critical problems with high complexity by proactively involving expert networks, and to exploit deviations in order to support continuous improvement
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to easily transmit your ideas/proposals in both verbal and/or written forms and the capacity to influence others
7. Ability to use time productively and efficiently when faced with multiple tasks and priorities
8. An in-depth understanding of Analog IP Design and Integration
9. Fluency in English (mandatory)
