Accounts Manager Role Overview
This is a newly created stand-alone position to migrate work in-house, working alongside external accountants and overseas finance teams within the Irish business of our client, a subsidiary of a large business providing Financial Services in a niche area.
Job Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts receivable, credit control, and issuing invoices.
* Process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier accounts, deal with queries, and process payments for accounts payable.
* Perform bank reconciliations and monthly cash management.
* Prepare monthly financial reports and submit group reports back to HQ.
* Assist with day-to-day administration tasks and other ad-hoc accounts duties as required.
Requirements
* A minimum of 2 years' general accounts experience.
* Ideal candidate should be an Accounting Technician or hold equivalent qualifications.
* Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication skills with fully fluent written and spoken English.
* A self-starter who can work independently and manage workload effectively.
* Proactive problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
