Head of Sales
Place of work: On-site – Park West, Dublin 12 / Duration: Permanent / Hours of work: Monday to Friday – Office Hours.

To enable this, we have built our business around a number of Core services Consulting, Project & Programme Management Services, Managed Services and Digital Services, Modern Workplace and Technology Platforms.
This position is to run our Sales Team and the primary responsibilities of the role are: Sales Leadership, Business Development, Customer Relationship Management and Team Management.
Position Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
* Lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team.
* Achieve Gross Margin targets set across all gates.
* Ensure coverage for business units in terms of annual revenue targets.
* Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
* Develop and implement sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue goals.
* Forecast sales accurately and track key sales metrics.
* Ensure optimal pricing strategies to win bids.
* Ensure accurate and up-to-date Account Plans exist for nominated accounts.
* Complete loss reviews for key deals and develop strategies for addressing gaps.
Business Development:
* Work with the team to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the IT market.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new market trends and opportunities.
* Attend industry events and conferences to network and build relationships.
* Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Customer Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships with key customers.
* Understand customer needs and provide effective solutions.
* Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
* Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively.
Team Management:
* Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales team members.
* Develop and implement sales training programs.
* Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Technical Competencies:
* At least five years’ experience in sales management servicing large customers.
* At least ten years’ experience in sales, in IT or a related field.
* Experience in identifying, qualifying and winning large and complex IT services contracts.
* Experience working in a consultative sales role.
* Experience of managing multiple, complex customer engagements.
* Strong Financial Acumen.

* Demonstrated experience building trusted relationships and an ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a complex organisational environment.
* Strong sense of confidentiality and responsibility.
