Our Workforce Tax Team helps large corporate employers stay ahead of tax and regulatory changes that impact their businesses and their workforces.
We deliver deep technical people and tax expertise, while providing the critical context to employers to help them make informed and compliant decisions.
Our clients range from multinational organisations and public sector bodies to entrepreneurs and family businesses.

What we do:
We provide expert advice and solutions to major organisations in areas including
1. Employment tax,
2. Workforce restructuring,
3. Employer risk identification, management and compliance
4. Revenue interventions and audits
5. Mergers and acquisitions
6. Share schemes, and
7. Payroll consulting and optimisation.
Our work is tremendously varied and involves supporting organisations in dealing with the strategic challenges associated with their people and in aligning their People strategy with business performance and employment tax compliance.
We are a technology enabled team and we are focused on leveraging technology solutions in a number of new and innovative ways to deliver effective and impactful employment tax services to our clients.
What does this role offer?
As a Workforce Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. As a senior member of the team, your focus will be on further developing the business by inputting into strategy, leveraging your network, enhancing client relationships and growing and supporting the team.
You will work on a varied portfolio of projects, including, for example, supporting our clients on mergers and acquisitions, working with clients’ HR and tax departments to deliver workforce restructuring projects and identifying and managing tax costs and tax risk, including Revenue interactions.
In addition to working across a range of clients and industries, you’ll also have the opportunity to develop areas of specialisation by getting involved in one or more of our subject matter expert teams, including Equity, Gender Pay Gap or Payroll Consulting.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
8. Leading and managing a challenging, evolving and varied client portfolio, with excellent opportunities to develop further opportunities with support of Partners and other mentors.
9. Develop and maintain business relationships and market profile with a view to winning new business;
10. Develop and maintain new products and service offerings;
11. Bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm.

Being motivated to drive the implementation and integration of technologies further within our day-to-day business and that of our clients. Digital innovation is a key part of our Workforce business and we challenge ourselves to embrace and leverage technology in how we provide solutions and advice to clients.

14. Motivating your team to perform at their best, make a difference and deliver results, while providing mentorship and guidance allowing them to stretch to their full potential;
15. Work on attracting, developing and retaining the best talents for the firm.
16. Participate in flexible working arrangements and achieve a level of autonomy at Senior Manager grade within the support network of a dynamic professional services firm;

About you – Key skills and competencies:
18. At least 7 years experience in Tax with at least 2 at manager level;
19. AITI/CTA Qualified (or qualified by experience) with a strong academic record.
20. Commercial awareness with an ability to develop business opportunities in order to generate growth within Workforce and the firm.
21. Expert at directing and driving the success of multiple engagements.
22. Business Acumen - use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the market and utilise this information to assist your clients in making innovative business decisions.
23. Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationships.
24. Creative - demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems.
25. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
26. Enthusiastic team player and manager with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential.
27. Leadership – demonstrate strong commitment and experience to developing yourself, your team members, your clients and your business.
