Job Description
We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Dublin 15.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for introducing new products into the company, compiling standard specifications, and monitoring production to meet those standards. They will also execute projects related to new products, continuous improvement, lean programs, and line extensions for existing customers and products.
* Responsible for process optimization using statistical techniques
* Works with Production Group leaders (PGL's) to troubleshoot processing problems
* Establishes relationships with customers and Equipment/Raw Material suppliers for continuous improvement and business development
* Solves customer-related problems/issues in conjunction with the Quality department
* Instructs others on manufacturing-related skills or knowledge and assists in employee training
* Coordinates documentation development in the Production and Technical areas, ensuring conformance to ISO9001 and ISO13485 requirements
Requirements
* Minimum of National Diploma Level 7 or Level 8 in Plastics Engineering with significant experience in the injection moulding industry
* Very good knowledge of injection mould tooling and design
* Good knowledge of injection moulding, processing, ancillary equipment, robots, and automation systems
* Preferably worked in medical, packaging, or technological industries
* Experience dealing with customers in previous employment
* Familiarity with Real-time monitoring systems and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
