Regional Development Executive - FDI
The Regional Development Executive will support the delivery of regional targets for the Southeast Region by managing a portfolio of Regional Enterprise Development Clients.
About the Role:
* Contribute proactively to advance strategic interest in the Regions through marketing the Southeast as a location for new FDI.
* Collaborate with regional stakeholders to support the winning of investments and work with the existing client base to secure investment opportunities.
About the Region:
The Southeast region comprises Waterford, Wexford, Carlow, and Kilkenny. It has a significant ecosystem of well-established companies across Technology, Life Sciences, International Financial Services, and Engineering & Industrial Technologies.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Manage a portfolio of Regional Enterprise Development Clients to support their transformation and continued presence in the regions.
2. Prepare marketing value propositions, content, and itineraries to maximize the investment opportunities for the Region.
3. Support the Regional Manager in enhancing the region's business ecosystem through networking and relationship building across regional and national stakeholders.
4. Draft, coordinate, manage, and accompany visiting itineraries and e-site visits to the business locations within the region.
5. Support the Regional Manager on the delivery of appropriate and timely solutions to challenges faced by existing and potential clients in the Region.
6. Provide close and effective startup assistance and support for new client companies establishing in the region.
7. Represent our client at a range of meetings and functions and, as required, proactively speak on behalf of our client outlining our role, strategy importance, and economic impact of our client nationally and regionally.
8. Collaborate with internal divisions as part of the marketing proposition for the Region.
9. Ensure that the brand is held in high regard in the Region.
10. Embrace and utilize all available technologies.
