Where you come in:
The Senior Tax Accountant role will be critical to the success of the Tax Department and will support the rapid growth of our business in the EMEA region.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, EMEA Corporate Tax Compliance & Provision, who is based in Ireland, you will support all areas of EMEA corporate income tax, including provision, compliance, planning, audit defense, tax structure governance, transfer pricing and ad hoc projects.
You will assist in the quarterly and year-end tax provision process for specific countries in the EMEA region.
You will support the Senior Manager in managing the corporate tax compliance timetable for specific countries in the EMEA region ensuring that all local tax reporting and payment deadlines are met.
You will assist in reviewing corporate tax returns prepared by external advisors and submit for approval and signature as well as preparing return to provision calculations.
You will assist in the preparation of calculations for OECD Pillar II purposes.
You will prepare local transfer pricing documentation for specific countries in the EMEA region.
You will work with the corporate tax team and liaise with the EMEA finance team to respond to tax audits and prepare appropriate supporting data to defend positions and resolve issues.
You will assist in tax and supply chain planning, M&A, and group financing activities in support of the global finance organization for the EMEA region.
You will research and prepare memoranda and documentation for transactions in the EMEA region.
You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the Company.
You will assume and perform other duties as assignedWhat makes you successful:
You have an ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic high-performance team environment.
You bring knowledge of international corporate taxation and a good understanding of international tax concepts including transfer pricing, permanent establishment, and any other OECD/EU tax initiatives such as Pillar II.You have good working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, or other statutory financial accounting standards.
You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
You have a desire to learn and grow in the role.
You have effective communication (both verbal and written) skills.
You can meet deadlines, even under high pressure situations.
You will be self-motivated, with the ability to self-manage with little instruction.
