Maintenance Reliability Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
Planning, Coordination, and Execution of Maintenance/Reliability Projects and Activities:
The Reliability Engineer will work with the Engineering teams and other site operational personnel in all aspects of site operation. Ensure all equipment and operational processes are designed, changed, and managed for maximum utilization and total cost of ownership.
Supporting Operations and Engineering Functions:
Serve as the key technical resource for operational focus on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, lean/operational excellence programs, and problem resolution for electronic/mechanical/process equipment issues.
Implementing Continuous Improvement and Performance Excellence:
Perform a key role in the principles of continuous improvement and performance excellence and work with members of the engineering & wider site operational team as needed.
Developing and Implementing Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Strategy:
Implement the use of asset criticality ranking and development of optimized maintenance strategies for all assets based on their respective ratings and optimize spare parts inventory levels.
Utilizing Tools and Techniques:
Utilize tools such as trends analysis, control charts, and data review in conjunction with System Owners, Maintenance, and operational units.
Supporting Compliance Efforts:
Support compliance efforts related to Safety Events, Quality Events, CAPAs, change management, and contamination investigations and assist in the investigation and resolution of electrical and mechanical issues on process equipment.
Ensuring Compliance with GMP and EHS Regulations:
Ensure maintenance routines, procedures, and work plans are developed to the necessary standards and best practice to ensure compliance with GMP and EHS regulations.
Requirements:
* BEng degree with a minimum of three years' experience in an engineering role preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
* Experience of SAP and preventative maintenance.
* Thorough working knowledge within a cGMP regulated environment, FDA, HPRA environment.
* Familiar with Computerised Maintenance management systems (CMMS), Calibration Management Systems, Utility systems, Sterile equipment, Packaging lines, PLC's.
* Excellent Interpersonal/Communication skills.
* Structured decision-making.
* Computer literacy (Word, Excel, CMMS systems, Calibration systems).
* Report preparation & presentation.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously.
* Proven analytical and problem-solving skill.
* Ability to build effective working relationships throughout the organization.
