Field Technician (Dewatering Team)
Join our partner, a leading environmental consultancy specializing in water management, dewatering, and geological services, on-site in Dublin. This role involves installing, operating, and maintaining dewatering and water treatment systems on construction and infrastructure projects.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, adaptable position that requires working with heavy machinery and technical equipment in outdoor environments. You will work under the guidance of an experienced project manager to support dewatering and water treatment projects on contaminated and non-contaminated sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support dewatering and water treatment projects on contaminated and non-contaminated sites.
* Install and maintain wells, pumps, hosing, and piping systems.
* Conduct water sampling and testing for environmental monitoring.
* Set up and commission settlement tanks, sensors, and telemetry equipment.
* Work alongside heavy machinery, including excavators, forklifts, and tracked vehicles.
* Occasionally work in confined spaces and at heights (full training provided).
* Assist in electrical and mechanical setup where required.
Requirements:
* Full European driving licence (Category C/C1/CE is a plus).
* SOLAS Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (training provided if needed).
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Comfortable working outdoors in a physically active role.
* Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
* Relevant trade or 3rd level qualification.
