The Commercial Solicitor will play a key role in supporting the business in achieving its commercial and strategic goals. This involves providing legal services for operational assets, strategic projects, business development, transactions, and general business activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with the Commercial Lead to manage the legal elements of strategic projects and transactions.
* Providing legal support for general commercial, planning, and environmental matters, as well as large infrastructure and professional services contracts.
* Offering expert legal advice on renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with Irish and EU regulations.
* Advising on legal issues affecting commercial and operational activities, recommending courses of action, and providing clear legal guidance.
* Proactively identifying solutions to overcome obstacles and managing risks.
* Negotiating key commercial contracts and transactions, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
* Supporting the development and financing of renewable energy projects by advising on legal and regulatory requirements, environmental assessments, and permitting processes.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor or barrister with at least four years of post-qualification experience. Experience in the renewable energy industry is an advantage, as is familiarity with legal case management systems and good organizational skills.
