Customer Services Advisor – Temporary Role
About the Role:
Our client, a highly respected charity based in Dublin 11, is seeking a compassionate and proactive Customer Services Advisor for a temporary position. This pivotal role involves managing customer interactions and handling administrative duties to provide exceptional support to fundraisers and other charity supporters.
Location: Dublin 11
Contract Type: Temporary, €14-€15 per hour
Working Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm)
Desirable: Own transport due to location
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, offering excellent support to fundraisers, adopters, and partners of the charity.
2. Manage administrative processes, including data uploads, report generation, and request handling for internal staff, suppliers, and supporters.
3. Assist in executing core campaigns such as donor recruitment, telephone fundraising, direct marketing, tax back, and Legacy/In Memory initiatives.
4. Actively contribute to the success of the charity’s campaigns and support team goals.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
1. Previous experience in customer service, ideally within a non-profit or charity setting is essential.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
3. Strong organisational skills, able to manage a busy workload with changing priorities.
4. Self-motivated, with excellent listening and communication skills.
5. Problem-solving ability with a proactive, supportive approach to customer needs.
6. Relevant Third level qualification is desirable.
