Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the progress of critical utilities projects in our new state-of-the-art biologics drug substance manufacturing facility in Munster.
The Role
You will be a key member of the Engineering Project Delivery Team, supporting the utilities infrastructure and key systems onsite. Reporting into the Director of Projects, you will oversee the delivery of key campaigns across this green-field program.
* Leading consultants onsite and overseeing vendor delivery against targeted objectives.
* Monitoring progress and performance against key metrics.
* Supporting the resolution of cross-functional issues to reduce any impact to work schedules.
* Managing project costings, scope of works, scheduling and change controls as required.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver against project milestones and key objectives.
* Ensuring lessons learned, changes and impact of changes are captured by all project leads for the project.
* Managing coordination of the vendors and working groups engaged in project work.
The Person
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A third-level degree qualified in a technical discipline.
* A minimum of 10 years' working experience in a GMP environment - Pharma or Biologics Drug Substance experience is preferable.
* Experience managing sub-project teams from design stage through to operational handover.
* Project management certification is desirable.
* Collaborative approach to work and effective communication skills.
* Ability to engage cross-functionally to deliver on key project milestones in conjunction with the Project Team.
* Autonomy and self-motivation.
* Experience working on client-side is required.
