Avoca Training & Development Specialist
This new and exciting hands-on role is pivotal in re-invigorating Avoca's customer service experience across its cafes, food halls, restaurants & retail spaces while contributing to our growth agenda.

The successful candidate will be a key stakeholder in enhancing the learning experiences in Avoca of primarily Frontline team members. They will also play an integral part in supporting the career paths across Avoca's 1,000 team members.
The base can be in any of the following stores: Dunboyne, Kilmac or Rathcoole (travel between stores required).
Key Role & Responsibilities
* Training:
o Learning Plan Development: Develop and communicate a learning plan that meets the needs of the business and our team members.
o Interactive Content Creation: Develop engaging training materials, including graphics, animations, videos, and live demonstrations
o Program Delivery: Design and deliver training modules & programs tailored to business needs
o Onboarding Support: Ensure the delivery of an engaging 'Warm Welcome to Avoca' onboarding and induction process to all Avoca team members.
o SOP Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all areas of our stores to ensure team members know what is required of them in their job role and are provided the skills & knowledge to deliver in their role
o Aramark Initiatives: Support the development and delivery of Aramark (parent company) learning and development initiatives.
o Learning Excellence Centre: Establish a store centre of training and development excellence.
o Compliance Training: Ensure 100% compliance with all mandatory training, such as Health & Safety and Business Conduct Policy.
o Dashboard Management: Create and manage monthly dashboards for tracking and reporting learning activities to senior leaders.
o Effectiveness Evaluation: Use metrics and feedback to continually refine and enhance learning experiences.
* Talent Development:
o Development Programs: Collaborate with stakeholders to create and deliver development programs for continuous frontline colleague growth
o Program Coordination: Manage the participation of Avoca colleagues in relevant Aramark internal programs.
The ideal candidate has operational experience: 2 to 3 years' experience creating and delivering training using blended methodology, including digital, virtual and in-person is ideal within Hospitality / Retail sectors. This role would also suit a strong operator with 5+ years' experience wishing to transition into a training and development role.
The ideal candidate should have technical skills: ideally proficiency with eLearning software (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and other training tools. We will provide technical skills training if required.
