About the Role
UCD wishes to make a new permanent academic appointment in the subject area of Biomedical Engineering at the interface of artificial intelligence (AI), digital technologies and 'One Health'.
Key Responsibilities
* Demonstrated commitment to excellence in research and teaching in Biomedical Engineering and the innovative application of engineering to health and healthcare delivery.
* Application of AI and data analytics in human sensing and robotics has been identified as an area of strategic interest to complement current research at UCD in robotics, prosthetics, wearable and implantable biosensors, biomechanics and medical devices.
Requirements
* Ambitious personal research programme and profile.
* Possession of qualifications and experience to deliver high quality teaching in core subjects in biomedical engineering.
