Health & Safety Advisor
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join our client, a leading tier 1 main contractor based in Limerick.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and results-driven individual to play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct regular audits and inspections of workplaces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Attend sites following accidents or incidents, assist with investigations, and lead investigations as required.
* Support the HSE Manager in preparing health and safety reports for senior management.
* Alert the HSE Manager to potential periods of inadequate health and safety coverage.
* Provide health and safety advice and practical solutions to tender and prequalification teams.
* Deliver health and safety training to site teams to promote safety awareness and compliance.
Requirements:
* iOSH/NEBOSH qualification preferred.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
* At least 3 years of experience as a health and safety professional.
* Experience with temporary works and internal auditing.
* Strong organizational skills, time management abilities, and performance management experience.
