Shipping Administrator Salary: €30k + performance bonus Permanent - (this role is working onsite) Dublin 12 Monday to Friday / 8am to 5pm Driving licence and own transport preferred Our client is a business specialised in buying and selling pre-owned luxury accessories. The company is an international leader in pre-owned luxury distribution and has offices in Europe, Northern America and Asia. Responsibilities: Creating labels for all daily shipments, returns, collections, shipments between sites, in coordination with Warehouse Supervisor and/or the Logistics Manager. Booking collections with couriers. Updating tracking files, updating Sales Team and clients via emails daily. Check all tracking numbers daily to make sure that items are delivered on time. Liaise with courier companies and/or brokers for shipments with issues or shipments pending customs clearance. Open investigations for problematic shipments with courier and follow up on them to make sure that those are successfully resolved in timely manner. Goods in/out handling and inspection. Storage in accordance with warehouse plan. Packing and dispatch. Processing of administration associated tasks. Assist in the achievement of quality and KPI targets. Work on own initiative in the absence of Supervisor. Communicate with the Supervisor or Managers regarding customer, products, and shipping issues. Ensure the workplace is always kept clean and tidy. Support other areas of the business when required. Skills Required: Experience of creating international shipping labels with likes of UPS/FedEx/DHL Experience of declaring items for export. Experience of dealing with Customs clearance brokers. Experience of handling and storage of products. Effective communicator with good team skills. Ability to work on own initiative / adapt to urgent requirements. Knowledge of SAP (Desirable). Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (primary Excel). Strong administration skills with computer literacy. Must have a good understanding of warehouse operations. Ability to organize own work in order to meet agreed timescales and deadlines. Flexible attitude to work and hours. Good communicative skills both verbally and in written form. Hold current driving license (Desirable). Work on own initiative, proactive approach, and can-do attitude. Personal qualities required: Good communicative skills both verbally and in written form. Sense of responsibility. Results driven. High level of productivity. Punctuality. Ability and willingness to work in a warehouse-type position. Preferable: Interest in logistics and international environments. Strong work ethic. Fluency in other languages. Education level: Experience is key. Any degree in logistics is a strong plus.
