Job Summary
This role involves leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on sustainability reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in program or project management and a background in corporate sustainability or sustainability reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare Google's annual corporate sustainability reports, including the Environmental Report and CDP Response.
* Support regulated sustainability reporting by developing environmental content and analyzing global regulations.
* Utilize emerging technology to improve the creation, distribution, and accessibility of sustainability data and insights.
* Enhance alignment of Google's public sustainability messaging, metrics, and commitments across key communication channels.
* Serve as a subject matter expert on sustainability reporting regulations, conducting regulatory research and competitive analysis.
About the Team
The Sustainability Reporting Team plays a critical role in enhancing transparency and showcasing Google's leadership in sustainability. The team focuses on voluntary and mandatory environmental disclosures, advocating for clear, credible reporting and raising industry standards for sustainability disclosure.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* At least 2 years of experience in program or project management.
* Background in corporate sustainability or sustainability reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience managing cross-functional or multi-team projects.
* Expertise in communications, writing, content development, research, and editing.
* Experience in collecting, analyzing, validating, and documenting sustainability data.
* Strong knowledge of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting frameworks, including CSRD/ESRS, SASB, GRI, GHG Protocol, UN SDGs, CDP, and TCFD, with familiarity in DJSI, MSCI, ISS, and Sustainalytics.
