Reservations Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to lead their reservations department at a 4-star hotel in South Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all booking operations, optimising revenue, and maintaining exceptional service standards, while collaborating closely with the Revenue and Sales departments.
Salary: €40,000 per annum
Location: South Dublin
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily operations to ensure smooth workflows, efficiency, and high service standards.
* Collaborate with the Revenue team to implement pricing strategies, maximising occupancy and profitability.
* Maintain and update reservation systems, ensuring accuracy in pricing, availability, and promotions.
* Oversee group bookings, including handling contracts, deposits, prepayments, and follow-ups.
* Ensure commission claims are processed accurately and manage reservation-related financial transactions.
* Work with Sales and Revenue teams to align on rates, promotions, and strategies to drive revenue.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with repeat and corporate guests, ensuring personalised attention to their reservations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing a reservations department in the hospitality industry.
* Strong knowledge of revenue management and yield optimisation.
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales and Revenue teams.
* Must have proficiency in Opera software.
