Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cold Store Maintenance Technician to join our team at Grange Castle. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with mechanical and electrical experience, who can work in a cold environment on a continental shift pattern.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure that all equipment is repaired to the highest standards.
* Record all work carried out through the maintenance department in SAP and on Shift Report.
* Approve the good completion of work carried out.
* Implement permanent fixes for all issues raised on the SAP shift report.
* Be responsible for the maintenance H&S function on shift.
* Provide daily feedback to management through recording and reporting on all maintenance activities.
* Act as a hands-on leader of the team during breakdown situations.
* Assist management in technical and automation activities (projects, equipment installation, reporting, and continuous improvements).
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical and electrical background.
* Ability to use a multimeter and troubleshoot electrical faults.
* Food/refrigeration and other utility experiences are advantageous.
* Trades, diploma, or degree qualifications are required.
* Good teamwork and self-motivation skills.
* Availability for call-out duties and/or overtime when required.
* Computer literacy (SAP).
