Scientist - Microbiology
Reporting to the Microbiology Principal Scientist, this role will work on a range of strategic microbiology research projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work within a small microbiology team
* Be responsible for specific deliverables within research projects
Trial Design and Management:
The successful candidate will design and manage trials, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis.
Sampling and Sample Analysis/Data Analysis:
Responsibilities include sampling and sample analysis/data analysis to provide accurate and reliable results.
Media Preparation and Inventory Management:
Effective media preparation and inventory management are crucial in maintaining a well-organized laboratory environment.
Development and Validation of Methods:
Developing and validating methods as required is essential for delivering high-quality results.
Technical Reports and Presentations:
Preparing technical reports and presenting data to team members and other stakeholders is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications and Experience:
MSc in Microbiology with at least 2 years of experience working in microbiology research is essential. Experience in working on key microbiology research projects will be beneficial. Excellent computer skills, including databases, Excel, Word, and statistical packages, are also required.
