Cullen and O'Beirne Solicitors are seeking to recruit a Legal Secretary/Executive to support a busy conveyancing/probate Partner.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation, editing, and formatting of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, booklets of title, bill of costs, invoices, legal letters, declarations, closing documents, probate papers, SA2, Notice of Applications, Oaths and Bonds. Write-up Wills. Filing Forms (Mortgage, Land Registry, Registry of Deeds).
* Opening files, sending LOE, checking AML, updating AML folders and Undertakings folders.
* Responsible for requesting Title Deeds, Certificates (NPPR, LPT, Architect's Opinions, letters re roads and services etc).
* Stamping and registrations.
* Scheduling Title Documents and arranging the return to lending institutions and other offices as appropriate.
* Outlook emails, diary, general administration (scanning, printing of documents, e-filing, opening (hard file and CLIO). Issuing legal correspondence. Dictations. Managed electronic and hard copy files in order to ensure excellent organisation of the documents.
* Meeting clients and dealing with queries, answering phones, taking messages, logging daily calls, follow up on calls.
Key experience:
* Conveyancing and property (residential).
* Probate and Wills.
* Landlord and tenant – residential and commercial.
* Acting for developers, preparing booklets of titles.
* Debt collection.
* Excellent computer skills including Word, Outlook, diary management, and file management systems (CLIO and accounts LEX).
* Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
