Job Title: Finance Manager
Contract Duration: 15 Months
Location: Cork, County Cork, Ireland
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join the Pharmaceutical Development & Manufacturing (PDM) finance team, which consists of three integral sub-teams:
1. Global Manufacturing Finance Centre of Excellence (COE)
2. Financial Planning and Analysis
3. Controllership
Job Responsibilities:
* Prepare and distribute accurate and timely monthly management reports, including financials, shipments, headcount, capital, and expense reports.
* Partner with site department heads to provide insight on their spending against budgets and the latest Latest Estimate (LE) expectations.
* Lead the planning for annual budget and forecast cycles, ensuring all deadlines and deliverables are met.
* Oversee internal and external SOX physical inventory counting programmes and actively participate in bi-annual SOX walkthroughs.
* Investigate and reconcile inventory balances and general ledger account reconciliations.
* Collaborate with various business teams to support OTC (Order to Cash) and IC (Intercompany) processes.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
* Experience in inventory and cost accounting is highly advantageous.
* Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment is a major asset.
* Prior experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
* Experience with SAP S/4 Hana, associated reporting tools (AO/WEBI), and forecast tools (SACP) would be a strong advantage.
* Experience with Oracle EBS and associated reporting tools (OBIEE) is also beneficial.
* Previous people management experience is advantageous.
