My client, a reputable financial services company, is seeking an Assistant Fund Accountant Manager for their central Dublin office (Hybrid - 2 days in the office and 3 days remote).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review due diligence on all new direct loans and alternative investments.
2. Review investee allocations, limited partnership agreements, and capital account statements.
3. Review and process capital call and distribution notices.
4. Review/prepare the reconciliation of the daily NAVs.
5. Manage the year-end direct equity valuation process.
6. Participate in the continuous development and enhancement of workflows.
7. Train, coach, and mentor more junior team members.
Requirements for the role:
1. At least 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting, in Private Equity or Hedge funds.
2. Third level qualification in Finance or Accounting (or related field).
3. Experience in training and supervising fund accountants.
Preferable:
1. ACCA Qualification.
